Dr. Apsey: Well, it’s so nice to see you here today again in my office, I know we’ve been through a lot together over the years. How long, how long has it been?
Dental Patient: It’s more than 10 years. I was your patient.
Dr. Apsey: Right
Dental Patient: My daughter is also your patient also.
Dr. Apsey: Yes, yes, I appreciate so much having the family here. It’s very nice. So, tell me about your experiences here. What is your feeling about treatment here in the office and how it goes for you?
Dental Patient: The main thing, it’s the trust. You have to walk in trusting your doctor, know exactly what’s going on and relaying diagnosis and not question about it. And it’s also important you’re always on time. The people here are nice and treat me well, and it’s in and out. I’m happy with results. So thus I’m coming back for last 10 years.
Dr. Apsey: Well, it’s so good to have a patient like you. You’re a wonderful lady and I know you’re a very busy woman; in fact you are an ice skating coach, correct?
Dental Patient: Yes, so my smile is important and this is a treatment to make my smile better. It’s my front teeth.
Dr. Apsey: Can I get a front.
Dental Patient: Absolutely.
Dr. Apsey: Close-up of your teeth, of your nice smile? Beautiful.
Dental Patient: That makes me very happy. And makes me happy and confident to smile, these are such beautiful teeth that you made for me.
Dr. Apsey: Great. Well, I know we’ve been through a lot. Do you want to share any of the things that you’ve been through?
Dental Patient: Well, you know, sometimes it doesn’t depend on the patient or the doctor. Sometimes, it happens. Like root canal happens.
Dr. Apsey: So we had done a couple root canals.
Dental Patient: Mm-hm. They had not always healed, as quickly as you wanted. But it’s not up to me. And it’s not up to the doctor. So I think the patient needs to be patient and trustful.
Dr. Apsey: Sure.
Dental Patient: And if you have a faith in your doctor, I think that lead to good results.
Dr. Apsey: Yeah. I believe in working with my patients and getting things right. And listening to them and always trying to you know. I just follow it through and do the best possible that I can.
Dental Patient: Yes, exactly. And I also appreciate a good recommendation if you need to do orthodontist work. I trust your choices and people who you recommended and get the job.
Dr. Apsey: The specialist, you liked?
Dental Patient: The specialist I liked and I had one implant and then it was done actually together at the office. Hopefully I don’t need anymore. But the main thing is I trust your opinion. And that’s the main thing.
Dr. Apsey: Well, thank you. You’ve been a wonderful patient and I really just want to say, thank you for that and for being my patient for all of these years and for trusting me to take care of your daughter and your friends.
Dental Patient: Yes, I send you a few friends.
Dr. Apsey: A lot of friends.
Dental Patient: I hope they like it as well as I am.
